This Weeks Nominations and Last Week's Winners

Each week, the members of the Watcher's Council nominate one of their own posts and a second from outside the Council for consideration by other council members in a contest for best post. The Watcher publishes the results each Friday morning.

If you would like to participate in the Council's activities, while there is no opening on the council at the moment, we invite you take part by submitting your own best post of the week through "link whorage." You can find out how at the Watcher's site.

I have been remiss in failing to put up last week's worthy winners. So before continuing on to this week's nomination, let's take note of the Council winner, Mere Rhetoric, for his post, Yahoo Wipes “Ariel, Israel” Off The Map, Replaces It With “Jenin, Palestinian Occupied Territories” and, in the Non-Council Category, there was Atlas Shrugs - From Himmler with Love: “His Eminence, the Grand Mufti, In Remembrance.” Both make interesting reads.
