A Photo Finish At The Council

Each week, the Watcher's Council holds a contest for best post. The Council members submit a post they have written and one post by someone outside the Council for consideration. The Watcher tallies the votes and announces the winners each Friday.

In the Council category, winning by a nose was Joshuapundit's The Real Holocaust Denial, taking to task the leaders of the West for ignoring the clear and present threat to Israel. At 1/3rd of a vote off were three posts tied at second place. They were The Glittering Eye's For the Want of a Horseshoe Nail, Soccer Dad's Preoccupied with occupation, and my own musings, Throwing Green Fuel On An Economic Fire.

In the Non-Council voting, things were a bit cleaner. Running away with first place was Doug Ross's Let Them Eat Dirt. Coming in second was Elder of Ziyon's More of those “civilians” killed in Gaza (UPDATED)
