Who can forget Joan Baez and the rest of the 60's rebels who used their music to attack the inequities in Western society, the Vietnam War, the evil capitalists, etc. . . .
Well, protest music is still with us, but the targets of angst have changed a bit, particularly in the UK, where the songs that once passionately supported union workers now . . . . well, let's say they've changed perspective - at least since London's subway workers have gone on strike.
