Watcher's Council's First Nominations Of The New Year

Each week, the members of the Watcher's Council nominate one of their own posts and a second from outside the Council for consideration by other council members in a contest for best post. The Watcher publishes the results each Friday morning.

This week's nominations are on a wide array of topics - several on aspects of jihadism, one on the fall from grace of San Francisco, one on the race card, and much more. On the non-council side, the TSA's outrageous arrest of Michael Yon makes several appearances. As an aside, one of the non-council submissions is Neo-Neocon's review of Avatar.
