Ever Wonder Why No One Robs Convenience Stores In Israel?

Heh. Now those are fine examples of womanhood.

That's a hell of a photo. Where does it come from?

This from Soccer Dad:

I received the e-mail with the picture and no explanation.

Soldiers in Israel walk around with their rifles. (When I was in Israel in January my nephew let me hold his - unloaded - M-16. He said it was bought from the U.S. - Viet Nam surplus.) So it's not at all unusual to see a group of soldiers standing around socializing, each one with a rifle and clip hanging over their shoulders.

I first encountered that photo, in May 2009, here Why so few convenience stores are robbed in Israel, which in turn attributed it to this post on an Isreali blog Why No One Robs 7-11 Stores in Israel

Needless to say, I sent it to all of my friends.

While on a trip to Israel's Golan Heights, my husband and I enjoyed wine tasting along with 40 Israeli Soldiers. Although some joined us in tasting, others remained alert, with guns/rifles available. We felt perfectly safe and in very good company.
