The Genius Of Capitalism - An Alien Cathouse

Every 40 year old uber-geek in America take note. You can finally live out that fantasy you've had since your were 12 of spending some quality time with Princess Lea. Or if she is not your thing, there are certainly many other options. Klingon mating rituals anyone?

Brothel owner Dennis Hof and famed Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss are teaming up to open the new "Area 51" brothel in Vegas, where all of the girls will be playing the roles of various vixens of Sci-Fi fame. It is capitalism at its most creative. If they advertise this right, they'll have a line of geeks and trekies stretching from their door back into Texas. Not that I would ever go.

Oh, who am I kidding? If they get 7 of 9, . . . At any rate, let's just say that Hof and Fleiss need to sell stock in this one.

Okay, an exit question. What sci-fi quote should they put above the entrance? Somehow, "To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before" just doesn't seem right.

And in honor of Paul in Houston, whose mind is racing at the possibilities of exploring the flora and fauna of Planet Vulcan . . .

Update: Linked - Paul in Houston (where he combines note of an alien cathouse with the history of our strategic bomber force.

Hear, hear on 7 of 9.

For a while I even watched Dana Delany's "Body of Proof" TV series because Jeri Ryan (7) was part of the cast.

The series is supposed to be about a medical examiner played by Delaney, and Delaney is supposed to be the star.

BUT, the page in the Internet Movie DataBase for the show list Jeri Ryan's name first.

Our feline domicile should also feature Vulcan Commander T'Pol (Jolene Blaylock) from "Star Trek: Enterprise" ...

And let's not forget Commander Susan Ivanova (Claudia Christian) from Babylon 5 ...
Claudia Christian as Commander Susan Ivanova

That picture just doesn't do her justice, especially for one who dresses down someone for ignoring her orders, "And just one more thing. On your trip back I'd like you to take the time to learn the Babylon 5 Mantra:
   Ivanova is always right.
   I will listen to Ivanova.
I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations.
   Ivanova is God!!!
And if this ever happens again,
Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out"

Dominatrix perhaps? :-)

(I tried to insert a couple of pictures in this comment, using code from posting, but that don't work in comments. At least, the links do.)

Thank you, Sir.
Much obliged.

Somehow, "To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before" just doesn't seem right.

In one episode of Babylon 5, Captain Sheridan has to make very nice with a powerful woman (I forget just what she was in charge of) and Ivanova commiserates,
"You are about to go where everyone has been before".

"gone"; not "been".
You get the drift.

Paul: Well, that one would be more accurate.

Anon: I had forgotten about Kirk's green love slaves.
