I am disgusted and angry.
This election may be unwinnable considering the fact that the most popular news sources are shamelessly lying and that most Americans don't know any better. You and I can get more truthful information but most people I work with do not. Furthermore, very few people question what they are being told. They hear and repeat.
When Obama's support should be polling in the single digits, he is tied with Romney. How in hell is he being scored more favorably on foreign policy than Romney, when our embassies are burning and we have a dead ambassador? How on earth is Obama outscoring Romney on the economy when the number of Americans working keeps going down?
The way I see it, we are in the middle of a civil war. Only, our side still thinks that we are at some negotiation table, while the other side is using war tactics. The newspapers and news shows are a propaganda engine that Goebbels would envy. The unions, Acorns, and a whole other host of "ngo's" are thugs with clubs fighting in the streets. They are importing whole armies into our backyard and we are hoping to win this battle with some debate performance.
Grim prospects...
I hope that I am wrong.
