The Council Has Decided

The Council winner this week - lapping the pack several times - was Ed. Schools: They're Awful (for the most part) by The Colossus of Rhodey. His post asks a very pertinent question - is our school system being served by teachers getting their degrees in education rather than in their discipline? And as the title indicates, CoR believes not for several reasons. I couldn't agree more with his reasoning and conclusion, and his exceptional post one got my first place vote. The rest of the pack saw a lot of very good posts getting some recognition, with my post, The Race Card, Liberal Guilt and Our Next President, ekeing out second place by a third of a vote.

The situation was similar, though a bit more magnified for Non-Council posts, with the winning post lapping the pack several times over. The run away winner this week dealt with the assault on freedom of speech in a Kangaroo Court north of the border where publisher Ezra Levant is having to defend himself against charges brought by a Salafi Imam for publishing the Danish Cartoons.
